Hosting with local support
Your website is a mission-critical part of your business, so help needs to be there when you need it. Our support team is based in Adelaide, and we answer hosting questions ourselves: setting up your account, troubleshooting a technical problem, or just giving advice.
We deliberately keep only a small number of websites on our servers. That lets us handle support requests personally and make sure every site has enough resources to run properly at peak times, instead of being squeezed onto a server with tens of thousands of others.
This is our standalone hosting plan. It covers the hosting itself: the servers, security, backups and support. It doesn't include ongoing website updates. If you want us to keep your website updated and maintained as well, that's what our managed website hosting is for.

Optional add-ons
Hosting covers your website. If you also want email on your own domain, there are two optional add-ons you can put on your plan.
- Email add-on: easy-to-use email accounts with anti-spam and virus protection, plus webmail so you can check your email from anywhere.
- Google Suite add-on: professional email on your domain, plus Google's productivity and collaboration tools, including Drive and Docs, for sharing files with your team.
Hosting or managed hosting
Standalone website hosting keeps your site online, fast and backed up, with local support when you need it. It doesn't include updating or maintaining your website, although you can book one of our team to update it on a quarterly basis. If you'd rather not think about updates at all, managed website hosting adds monthly updates, plugin updates and security monitoring on top of the hosting.
Common questions
What's wrong with hosting overseas?
Visitors further away from the server get slower load times, which hurts their experience and can push up your bounce rate. Different countries also have different data protection and privacy laws, which can affect your compliance with local regulations.
Why is your hosting more expensive than larger companies?
Larger hosts can charge less because of their scale, but they often load tens of thousands of websites onto a single server and offer a one-size-fits-all experience. We host far fewer sites, give personal support with faster responses, and make sure each website has the resources to run well at peak times.
Is cheap hosting fast and good quality?
It varies. Some cheap hosts cut costs by sacrificing performance and reliability, which can mean slower load times, more downtime and limited resources. We don't try to compete on price, because keeping client numbers low is what lets us look after each site personally.
Will you update my website?
Not on our standalone hosting plans, although you can book one of our team to update your website each quarter. For ongoing maintenance and security updates, our managed hosting plans are the better fit.
